Frugality is green almost every frugal decision is also a good for the environment decision it’s a win / win when we replace rather than repair, all those working parts are being trashed on account of one, single non-working part it’s worthwhile to at least explore the idea of repairing.

Frugality is an underappreciated quality like a muscle, it can be developed over time, even by those who struggle with compulsive spending the key is a combination of keeping a budget, cutting costs, and engaging in targeted spending that will ultimately provide a high return on investment. There are many long-term benefits of accepting a frugal lifestyle increased financial security: one of the major benefits of making these sort of sacrifices is the increased financial security spending significantly less money than you earn allows you to save and invest more money.

I didn’t foresee that years later, i’d continue to choose frugality as my preferred mode of existence, not merely as a tactic i didn’t know that frugality offers ancillary benefits, which don’t get much press. Quick sidenote: i was on farnoosh torabi’s so money podcast yesterday chatting about our uber frugal life if you’re interested, you can give it a listen here it’s not just about the money although the most obvious destination of frugality is having a bunch-o-money saved up, this is by no. Frugal mindful living has brought me to a place where i am more content with life i am happy with my little home and garden and thankful for what i have frugality as a way of life has many pluses. The benefits of frugal living outweigh the sacrifices and time spent for example, many families are staying home more often they’re cooking more meals and eating together, spending less money on entertainment, and getting back to the basics of sharing quality time.

Benefit #1: frugality can be good for the environment even if you don’t care a lick about saving money, frugality comes with benefits that extend beyond your pocketbook and personal life the truth is, frugality doesn’t just benefit “us” it can benefit the planet we live on too. While there is definitely the larger debate on the role of the state in the economic sphere, today i’d like to make a case for the benefits of frugality or fiscal conservatism in one’s personal life i’ll explain both the most straightforward and basic reasons as well as the more complex reasons.

People don't always talk about the less-than-obvious benefits of living frugally sure you end up with more money by spending less, but then what the most common reasons cited for frugality are better peace of mind and the ability to retire sooner, often significantly sooner than the normal retirement age of 65. The thing is that by being frugal, this will bring about more competitive prices in shops, be better for the environment, but most of all - better for you and me you may think that having less money will be stress, but strangely, it doesn't work like that.

One of the most frequent benefits of extreme frugality is that emergencies become annoyances back when i had no money, a routine brake change on my car was a major emergency i didn’t have that $200, so i reached for my credit card.

Frugality isn’t a tactic, it’s a mindset and a joyful lifestyle sure, frugality is about saving money and it’s about financial freedom and it’s about creating the longterm life you want but it’s also about opening up an entire world of simplified, honest, fun living.
